Key to Happiness #6: Tips from Anxiety Control Center

Post 6: Anxiety Control Center’s answer to finding happiness.

Don’t search for happiness
focus on the positives and happiness will come.

Today we’ll be looking the the 6th post in the key’s to happiness series.  It you put these tips to use  you too can gain happiness, no matter what is going on in your life.  Even if you are still suffering from anxiety, or insomnia, or depression these tips can work for you.

Key 1: Changing our responses to stressors takes some effort.

Key 2: Take one tiny step at a time, that is all it takes.

Key 3: Give yourself credit for what you do.

Key 4: Find small things to give yourself positive feedback about.

Key 5: Find something positive about the choices you’ve made and things you’ve done.

Key 6. Acceptance

Key 7.  Changing the focus of your thoughts.

What you focus on you will get more of.  If you focus on positives you’ll begin to notice more positives.  If you talk about how terrible things are, or how scary it is you find more and more things to feel scared about.

It’s your mind – choose to focus on the positives in any situation. Find places in your life that the “universe” or G-d is supporting you.

Don’t search for happiness –
instead focus on the positives and happiness will come.
